I don’t really think of my art in terms of “pieces” but in terms of “projects”.  I get fixated on making something and then I work on it as a project.  Below this parent lie all of my personal art projects which have been documented to any degree that justifies a mention.

I don’t make a lot of art, and I have no desire to.  I don’t wake up in the morning and “have to make art or die”.  When something needs to be made, I do what I can to make it.  That’s it.

I’m neither a good artist, nor a fantastically skilled craftsman, and if I have any real long term artistic goal it’s that I might leave behind a series of objects which have some sort of lasting meaning, even if only to myself.  I’m very concerned with the process of making things and the action of “becoming”, sometimes more so than the end result itself.  I enjoy making art as a form of communication and dialogue.
