I’ve loved being part of Angels Gate Cultural Center for the better part of ten years, being part of an incredible staff and extended family of artists and community members who make this little campus on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific such a special place, but it’s time for me to pass the baton [...] Sunday! Spring is always the busiest time of the year for [...] About two years ago now, the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles contacted Angels Gate about curating a site-specific artwork for the La Salle Lofts. We put together a process that looked at several Southern California artists and ended up commissioning AGCC Studio Artist Slobodan Dimitrov to design a photo-based labour mural.
