Well, I’ve held back on posting photos of the final piece until now, because I really want folks to come and see the piece in person and stand in the intentional space of the installation, but I’m hoping that if you haven’t made a visit to the El Camino College Art Gallery to see my installation, Ragnarok Supply, in their current exhibition Melting Point, these will convince you to hustle on down. I think this is my most realized work, and I’ve poured everything I’ve got into it, and have been getting great responses from the folks who have seen it. The whole show, Melting Point, is a winner, too, and I’m just blown away to have my work in the same exhibition as so many other amazingly talented folks.
The piece consists of a 22′x10′ black room with one entrance, the swords at one end and the swords-in-snowflake mandala at the opposite end. Simple, just like the end of the world will be…
Melting Point is on view until December 18.
