Your Moment of Apocalypse – What do to when God is dead edition

Thank you Lisa Katayama of Tokyomango for taking my mind off of Swine Flu (apparently I bet my artistic notoriety on the wrong strain), with a sign of what I like to refer to as the “good apocalypse”, where the world becomes vastly more interesting before the walls come crashing in. the above is a mikoshi, or portable shrine, decorated by a maid cafe employee in Akihibara with symbols of technology fetish and carried through the streets in a micro matusuri/PR event.
