Portable Potluck Project: 1960’s Edition. Held at 5 PM on April 27 in Angels Gate Park, at the end of the Center’s day long Open Studios event and adjacent to a freshly built, re-creation of Allan Kaprow’s Fluids. This is your perfect opportunity to share that fruit filled Jello recipe, aunt Rosie’s ambrosia salad or, as seen above, that fondue pot you bought at Salvation Army and have tucked away in your closet.
It’s also worth noting that during the day, prior to the potluck, Portable Potluck Project artist Edith Abeyta will be presenting the Mythical Beast Sweet Shoppe in her studio, F-10, at the Center. Unicorns and cotton candy will be involved.

I’m going to make it one of these days but that is another bad day for me.
There might be an evening preview of the Sweet Shoppe, a testing out of the cotton candy machine on April 26 but it’s true opening is April 27.
Ooohh… Early Cotton Candy…
I’d love to break out the fondue pot, but that’s not a good day for me. Maybe at the next one…
