Sub-Prime Crisis Spreads to LA Institutions

I missed this when it was published last Friday, but caught it in Tyler Green’s weekend roundup (which has lots of other good LA related stuff, too).  Mike Boehm of the LA Times wrote a fascinating article on the relationship between major cultural institutions in LA and the sub-prime mortgage crisis.  Check it out.

  • Yeah this is just the kinda news that gets me thinking about the coming WORLDWIDE DEPRESSION. And then that depression gets me thinking: inevitable CATASTROPHIC FUEL CRISIS and eventual GLOBAL APOCALYPSE. Yeah COMPLETE AND UTTER PLANETARY BREAKDOWN ain’t ever too improbable a scenario, now is it?
