Well, no one has volunteered to give me their ticket to the “real” opening for the upcoming Takashi Murakami retrospective con Louis Vuitton PR bomb at MOCA, but I’m still holding out hope. Anyways, I noticed the above image in my house mate Phill’s Flickr stream today. Given his usual photo habits, and my general knowledge about the kind of cars that Longshoremen often drive, I’d imagine this custom Murakami Vuitton interior can only belong to one of his fellow ILWU members. Nice. I’ve never known anyone growing blueberries in SoCal – let me know how it goes. I go after a bowl of blueberries like a crackhead on a pipe. I’ll eat them until I’m sick.
Well that dream died fast. Our soil is apparently way too alkaline to grow blueberries, so I guess I’ll be sticking to blackberries instead.
